  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder optional
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk substitute with plant-based milk if desired
  • 1 cup Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs or panko for extra crunch
  • 2 cups Frying Oil neutral oil with high smoke point

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and chili powder.
  2. Take your boneless pork and cut it into bite-sized cubes. Toss the seasoned pork in the spice mixture.
  3. Grab your wooden skewers and thread 3-4 pieces of the seasoned pork onto each skewer.
  4. In one bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. In another bowl, pour in the bread crumbs.
  5. Set your oven to 350°F and prepare a baking dish with a wire rack inside.
  6. In a deep pot, heat your frying oil to 350°F.
  7. Dip each skewer into the egg mixture, then roll it in the breadcrumbs.
  8. Gently place the skewers in the hot oil, frying for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  9. After frying, place the skewers on the wire rack in your baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
  10. Serve the skewers on a platter with your choice of dipping sauces.
