Preparation
  1. Begin by rinsing the apples under cool water, then use an apple corer to remove the core. Slice the apples into fry-shaped sticks of even thickness, ensuring uniform cooking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until well blended.
  3. Add the sliced apples to the bowl and toss them, ensuring each piece is coated with the mixture.
  4. Set your air fryer to preheat at 180°C (350°F) while you prepare the basket. Lightly spray the basket with oil.
  5. Lay the coated apple slices in a single layer within the basket.
  6. Cook the apple fries for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. Once they're out and perfectly golden, serve your crispy apple fries warm.
