Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sliced green onions, shredded cheddar cheese, diced red pepper, minced water chestnuts, and all seasonings until smooth.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a 9x12 casserole dish with non-stick spray. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the dish.
  3. Crush the sleeve of buttery round crackers and sprinkle them over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Bake for about 35 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  5. Pour pepper jelly into a saucepan and warm it on low until liquid.
  6. Drizzle warm pepper jelly over the top, and finish with bacon bits and remaining sliced green onions.
  7. Serve warm with butter crackers for dipping.
