- In a mixing bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sliced green onions, shredded cheddar cheese, diced red pepper, minced water chestnuts, and all seasonings until smooth.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a 9x12 casserole dish with non-stick spray. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the dish.
- Crush the sleeve of buttery round crackers and sprinkle them over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for about 35 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
- Pour pepper jelly into a saucepan and warm it on low until liquid.
- Drizzle warm pepper jelly over the top, and finish with bacon bits and remaining sliced green onions.
- Serve warm with butter crackers for dipping.
