Cooking Instructions

  3. Brown Chicken: In a Dutch oven, melt butter over medium-high heat. Brown each chicken thigh for about 4-5 minutes on both sides until golden brown, then set aside.
  4. Sauté Aromatics: In the same pan, sauté the shallots and onions until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  5. Deglaze Pan: Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan to lift the browned bits.
  6. Add Herbs: Toss in the thyme and bay leaves, bringing the mixture to a gentle boil.
  7. Create the Sauce: Stir in Crème Fraîche, then return the browned chicken to the pan.
  8. Bake Chicken: Cook the chicken uncovered for 50-60 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  9. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
