Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create thinner pieces or pound them to an even thickness. Season both sides generously with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning for flavor.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, until they turn golden brown and are fully cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Lower the heat slightly, and add unsalted butter and the minced garlic into the same skillet. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute, taking care not to burn the garlic.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to deglaze the skillet, and scrape up any flavorful bits. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, whisking until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy, which will take about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating each piece generously in the creamy sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and the chicken absorbs the sauce’s delicious flavors.
- Top with fresh parsley for a burst of color and freshness (optional).

Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for best results. Properly sear the chicken for enhanced flavor and texture.
