For the Mustard Cream Sauce

  • 1 cup Heavy cream Or use half-and-half or milk mixed with Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Or any mustard available
  • 1 teaspoon Dried tarragon Oregano or thyme can be substituted

Instructions
  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil, letting it shimmer.
  2. Generously sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken breasts.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken to the hot skillet and sauté for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.
  4. Pour chicken broth into the skillet to deglaze, scraping up any bits stuck to the bottom.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and dried tarragon, whisking until combined. Heat for about 2 minutes until thickened slightly.
  6. Pour the sauce over the warm chicken and serve immediately.
