How to Make Avocado Smoothie
- Peel and pit the avocado, then slice or dice it. To preserve its color, sprinkle with lime juice, freezing the slices on a parchment-lined sheet for about 1 hour before storing them in a Ziploc bag.
- In your blender, combine the frozen avocado along with frozen pineapple, spinach, protein powder, maple syrup or honey, lime juice, and coconut water. Add any optional ingredients you'd like!
- If the smoothie is too thick, add more coconut water a little at a time, then blend again until you reach a smooth and creamy texture.
- Pour your vibrant avocado smoothie into a glass and feel free to garnish it with hemp seeds or any other toppings you love!
