  • 1 loaf Baguette Substitute with gluten-free bread if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Lightly brush baguette slices.
Topping
  • 8 ounces Brie Cheese Can use Camembert or goat cheese as alternatives.
  • 1 cup Fresh Cranberries Dried cranberries can be used if hydrated first.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup Adjust to taste.
  • 1 large Apple Granny Smith is recommended.
Seasoning and Garnish

  • to taste Fresh Thyme or Rosemary Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Lightly brush each slice with olive oil and toast for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Heat cranberries in a small saucepan over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until they start to burst.
  4. Stir in honey or maple syrup and cook until syrupy for another 2-3 minutes, then set aside to cool slightly.
  5. Top each toasted baguette slice with a generous amount of Brie cheese and return to the oven for another 3-4 minutes until melty.
  6. Finish by adding apple slices and spooning the cranberry mixture on top. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
