Preparation Steps
- In a deep-fryer or skillet, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (180ºC) for frying your wonton wrappers to crispy perfection.
- Fry wonton halves in small batches for about 30 seconds, turning golden brown. Drain on paper towels to keep them extra crispy!
- In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and mayonnaise until creamy and smooth. Gently fold in crab meat.
- Set your oven to broil, ensuring it’s ready to melt the crab mixture on top of the crispy wontons.
- Arrange fried wontons on a baking sheet and spoon generous amounts of the crab mixture on top.
- Place in the oven and broil for 1-2 minutes until the crab mixture is melty and the tops are bubbly.
- Remove from oven and top with diced avocado, cucumber, and green onions. Drizzle with sweet chili sauce and lightly sprinkle sesame seeds for a touch of elegance!
