  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Swap for tamari for gluten-free
  • 4 ounces Thai-Style Red Curry Paste Substitute with green curry paste if preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce Optional but recommended
For Flavor and Aroma
  • 1.5 inch piece Fresh Ginger Peeled and grated
  • 6 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced
  • 3 teaspoons Sugar Coconut sugar is a great alternative
  • 1/2 large Onion Sliced

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sear the chuck roast in olive oil seasoned with salt and pepper for 5 minutes on each side.
  3. Prepare the braising liquid by mixing beef broth, coconut milk, soy sauce, red curry paste, grated ginger, minced garlic, sugar, and fish sauce.
  4. Combine the seared beef in the pot, cover, and roast in the oven for 2 hours.
  5. Shred the beef after cooling, return it to the pot, and stir in sliced onion.
  6. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving over rice or noodles.
