Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with liners or spray it with non-stick spray.
  2. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl until thoroughly combined.
  3. Combine milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla in another bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Mix together cinnamon and sugar in a separate bowl for the filling.
  6. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter, then add a spoonful of the cinnamon-sugar mixture in the center.
  7. Top with the remaining batter.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the muffins turn golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool the muffins slightly before drizzling with a vanilla glaze made from powdered sugar and milk.
