Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the thick cut bacon for about 7-10 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add chopped chives and sauté for about 5 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  3. In a saucepan, combine maple syrup, soy sauce, and vanilla extract. Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes until thickened.
  4. Add cooked bacon, garlic powder, and onion powder into the syrup mixture and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  5. Allow cream cheese to sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes until softened.
  6. In a serving dish, spread chili onion crunch over the softened cream cheese.
  7. Pour the warm bacon-maple mixture over the cream cheese and sprinkle with additional chives and black pepper.
