  • 1 lb Ground Chicken Freshly ground, breast or mix of breast and thigh
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Can substitute with nutritional yeast for dairy-free
  • 1 large Egg Ensure it's thoroughly mixed
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic can be used
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning Substitute with oregano and basil if desired
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Marinara or Pizza Sauce Choose a low-sugar variety
  • 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Can substitute with dairy-free version
  • 1 medium Tomato Fresh slices of any ripe variety
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Substitute with dried basil if unavailable

Method
 

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a pizza pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  3. Press the chicken mixture onto the prepared pan, shaping it into a circular crust about ¼-inch thick.
  4. Place the crust in the oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the crust from the oven, spread marinara sauce evenly over the base, and layer with mozzarella cheese, tomato slices, and basil.
  6. Return the pizza to the oven for 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
