  1. Prepare the Dough: Cut your choice of soft pretzel dough or pizza dough into 34 bite-sized pieces. Let them rest for about 5-10 minutes to relax the gluten for easier shaping.
  2. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure the pretzel bites don’t stick during baking.
  3. Boil the Bites: Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add baking soda to it. Carefully place the dough bites in the boiling water (10 at a time) and let them boil for about 30 seconds. Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Assemble the Bites: Arrange the boiled bites neatly in a greased baking dish. Brush each bite with the beaten egg, then drizzle melted butter over them. Finish by topping with crumbled blue cheese for a savory touch.
