How to Make Buttered Popcorn Cookies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar for about 3-4 minutes.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Fold in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate this dry mix into the wet ingredients.
- Gently fold the freshly popped popcorn into the cookie dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
