Preparation Steps
- In a bowl, dissolve granulated sugar in water until fully dissolved to create syrup.
- Mix together the sugar-water syrup, dry rosé wine, elderflower liqueur, and freshly strained blood orange juice in a freezer-safe dish.
- Place the mixture in the freezer uncovered for one hour to start crystallizing.
- After the first hour, use a fork to scrape the ice crystals. Return to the freezer, scraping every hour for 2-3 hours until fluffy texture is achieved.
- Before serving, give it one final scrape to fluff up the texture, and scoop into chilled glasses.
