  • 1 cup Blood Orange Juice Freshly squeezed juice is ideal; substitutes can be used.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a bowl, dissolve granulated sugar in water until fully dissolved to create syrup.
  2. Mix together the sugar-water syrup, dry rosé wine, elderflower liqueur, and freshly strained blood orange juice in a freezer-safe dish.
  3. Place the mixture in the freezer uncovered for one hour to start crystallizing.
  4. After the first hour, use a fork to scrape the ice crystals. Return to the freezer, scraping every hour for 2-3 hours until fluffy texture is achieved.
  5. Before serving, give it one final scrape to fluff up the texture, and scoop into chilled glasses.
