How to Make BBQ Chicken Quesadillas
- Gently heat your BBQ sauce in a small saucepan until warm.
- In a bowl, combine the warm BBQ sauce with shredded chicken, stirring until well-coated.
- Place a skillet over medium heat to warm it up.
- On one tortilla, sprinkle a layer of cheese, followed by BBQ chicken mixture and more cheese, red onions, and cilantro. Top with a second tortilla.
- Carefully place the quesadilla into the heated skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from skillet, allow to cool slightly before cutting into wedges. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
