  • 8 oz Cream cheese low-fat optional
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1 cup Dipping sauce optional, e.g., sweet chili or marinara

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground sausage, cream cheese, shredded cheese, green onions, and garlic powder. Mix until well blended.
  3. Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about a teaspoon of filling into the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and press to seal.
  4. Place the sealed wontons on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from oven and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
