How to Make Baked Eggs in Baguette
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the baguette into 4 equal pieces, about 4 inches long, and hollow out the insides.
- Brush the insides of each baguette piece with heavy cream and butter.
- Stand the baguette portions upright on a lined baking tray. Crack one egg into each piece.
- Bake at 400°F for 5 minutes, then lower to 350°F and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes.
- Prepare your cheese sauce while the eggs bake by heating milk, heavy cream, butter, and Cajun seasoning.
- Remove the baguette eggs from the oven and top with smoked Gouda sauce.
