  • 2 tablespoons Honey or maple syrup as substitute

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking pan lined with parchment or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Brush one half with beaten egg.
  3. Spread the fresh rosemary, brown sugar, and grated cheddar evenly over the brushed side of the pastry. Fold and seal the edges.
  4. Slice the folded pastry into ½-inch strips. Lay thin cut bacon on top of each strip, then twist gently.
  5. Brush all the twists with the remaining beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 20-30 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving. Enjoy warm!
